Grocery Savings Suggestions

Sue Stock, who is the Triangle's resident expert on all things retail and savings-related, has published a wonderful collection of money saving ideas. Grocery price comparison is important, especially when combined with couponing, is a powerful way to slash your second (or third) biggest expense.

Another great point that Sue makes is price unit comparisons. It's too easy to think you're getting a deal on an item by comparing total prices. But for non-perishable, or slow-perishable items, increasing the size you're buying can make a lot of sense. That is one of the features of Pricebooking... you can compare not just item prices, but also per unit prices.
