How to Price Book
Step 1: Join!
Pricebooking is free and quick to join! Once you join, you’ll be asked to enter your profile information. That’s important so you can track and compare prices in your area.
Step 2: Add favorite items
Pricebooking is made easy through favorites. Simply go to the
Favorite Items and add grocery items that you shop for and want to save on. You can search for these items using the item name, UPC code, or by browsing our categories.
Once in your favorites you can quickly access them for adding, tracking, and comparing prices. Don’t see your favorite item? No problem, add it yourself!
Step 3: Add favorite stores
Another easy way to compare by store is to choose the stores that you visit most often. Don’t see your favorite store? Same thing, just add it for grocery price comparison simplicity!
Step 4: Track, Compare, or Add?
If you want to track prices for a particular item over time, visit the
price tracking page and select the favorite grocery item that you want to track. Click the button and you’ve got the price trend for the product in your region.
If you want to compare prices across stores, then visit the price comparison page and again choose your favorite grocery item. Click the button and we’ll compare to find the lowest price per store in your region.
If you want to enter prices then you’re not only helping yourself to save money, you’re helping the community! Simply go to the
add price page, choose the store and date of your purchase and then the item that you bought and its price (be sure that the price matches the unit), and you’re set!
